Rock Thaa Boat Night Time Yacht Cruise
If you are staying in NYC this weekend, this nighttime cruise looks amazing. Private Event Planning is launching their summer cruise series this Saturday! Starting in the East River, the party goes cruising around Manhattan while listening to a rotation of dj’s and live performers. Sounds pretty awesome to us!
Just because it’s been a while since we have put Beyoncé on the blog.

Tom Sachs - ‘Space Program: Mars’
New York sculptor and space-enthusiast, Tom Sachs has a thing for NASA’s Space Shuttle program. So much of a thing that he will fill the Park Avenue Armory with Phase 2 of his own life-size space program, featuring over 50 dynamic crafted sculptures. The centerpiece of Space Program is a huge lunar module complete with a toolkit, soundtrack necessary for survival on an alien planet and a booze cabinet so that visitors can have a complete and awesome experience. Sachs has managed to get some well-known brands, such as Nike, working for him to produce lab coats and space boots to make the experience even more real. Plus, the experience begins with a liftoff to Mars. But wait… The Tom Sachs NIKECraft collection will be sold in an adjoining pop-up installation as well. Fresh. This exhibit is a MUST visit! I mean, who doesn’t want to know what it’s like to travel to space? Hope they are seving space ice cream! Visit Tom Sachs’ site for more info.

“All I can do is be me, whoever that is.”

Photographer and artist Lee Jung, who works and lives in Seoul, South Korea, created an amazing collection of neon text letters very reminiscent of the neon signs displayed in general stores at night. Jung came up with creative, thought provoking phrases and created a series of text-based light installations. She placed these phrases and words in various locations, i.e. in the sand, forest, ocean, and captured their essence through photography for art lovers around the globe to see. We are totally in love with these installations. The neon phrases send a warming feeling through our souls. AMAZING. Read more about Lee Jung here.
